Our team is dedicated to helping you resolve pain, injuries and working with you to achieve your health and fitness goals.

Sports Physiotherapy involves helping sporting people return to competitive sport. Common sporting injuries include patella tendinopathy, rotator cuff tears, shoulder impingement, shin splints, Achilles tendon pain as well as muscle and ligament injuries.

ACL surgeries require an extended period of rehabilitation and Physiotherapy. At Physiotherapy Essendon we can help you with early phase (0-6 weeks), mid phase (6-12 weeks) and long-term rehabilitation (12-52 weeks) for an ACL reconstruction.

Becoming a mother can also come with unexpected injuries and pain. Some of the main injuries we can help you with are lower back pain, sacroiliac joint pain, hip and groin pain, incontinence, upper back and neck pain, post-natal health and fitness.

We run two separate online programs, one is for females who want to lose weight while fixing their hormones and yo yo dieting. The other is for active people who want to lose body fat and gain muscle with body recomposition. Both are run by our nutritionist who will be able to create a customised plan for you.

We can accept patients who have funding through the National Disability Insurance scheme (NDIS). We work with a range of conditions in this area and can help with pain in common areas for the knees, shoulders and back, mobility and balance issues, strength and fitness programs and one to one exercise sessions.

Personal training is individualised exercise sessions to improve your general fitness, strength, mobility or pain. We can work with you on a range of goals including weight loss, muscle gain, general fitness or competitive sports.

Post operative rehabilitation includes any rehab required for surgical intervention. Some of the most common conditions we can help with include total knee & hip replacement, rotator cuff repairs, joint arthroscopy, meniscus surgeries & Spinal surgeries

Strength and conditioning involve specific training to improve your ability to perform on the competitive field of play such as with football, running or in Weightlifting. We have a fully equipped functional gym space to level up your performance.

We are also an affiliated CrossFit gym under the name CrossFit Essendon. If you would like to take your fitness, nutrition and health to the next level then we run over 25 classes per week. CrossFit involves a combination of strength, cardiovascular exercise, gymnastics and Olympic lifting movements to improve your overall fitness.

If you have sustained a work related or road accident injury, you will be able to see a Physiotherapist at our clinic with no further gap fee. We will work closely with you, your employer and your Workcover provider/TAC to ensure you receive the best possible care and outcome.

We accept referrals from a General Practitioner, these are typically known as Enhanced Primary Care Plans (EPC’s). You can receive a total of 5 visitis within a calendar year, you will need to speak to your GP to organise a care plan. You will need to cover the gap fee of this consultation which is $35-$40 depending on your consultation.

We run a group fitness class for people over the age of 50. Within this class we work on a variety of fitness components including strength, balance, flexibility, joint pain management as well as cardiovascular fitness.
